Danielle discovered Grooveshark today, and I have to say, this may replace all my other music services/applications. It has dozens of nifty tools like blog integration, social/sharing, predictive streaming/discovery (a la Pandora), and a massive catalog. Go check it out! Many politicians and pundits are scratching their heads, wondering why the partisan lines have been so starkly drawn during an administration that was supposed to be "post-partisan", "practical", "pragmatic". Where has all this ideological will (on both sides) come from? I think the answer is fairly straightforward: There is no bipartisanship here, because there's no middle ground here. When the question before the American people is whether the government should take over General Motors, infuse banks with taxpayer money, take over half the housing market, and/or take over *all* of the health care industry, we're questioning the *fundamental* role of government in American life. It's an ideological question, and so the fight must be ideological. I don't see anything wrong with that, as long people can argue about the ideas while showing a little respect to each other.
